The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially postponed the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), ending weeks of speculation about the fate of the tournament. In a statement published on Thursday, CAF confirmed that the competition, originally scheduled to take place in Morocco from 17 March to 3 April, has been moved to 25 July – 16 August.
