Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has called out her dog for being so ungrateful over his new shoes. On her Instagram story, she shared a video of her dog wearing a new shoe she got him, and he was ungrateful. Bimbo said her dog hates the shoe and slammed him to go walk barefoot. Calling him ‘ghetto,’ she questions whether she is okay. “Ice is so ungrateful. I bought him shoes, and he hates them. Go walk with your bare feet then. Ghetto ass dog! Sometimes I ask myself if I’m ok, because what is this?”. Last month, social media was agog when Nancy Isime shared a video of herself marking the first birthday of her four dogs. In the clip, the movie star prepared them a special meal while jokingly describing them as “nepo babies”. Last year, the daughter of Otedola, their had spiled her dogs with accessories. The billionaire’s daughter shared a video of the glasses, belts, ties, bracelets, chains, and more she bought for them, stating that her dogs deserve only the best. Also, in 2024, Cuppy took her dogs to church to receive blessings. Sharing a video of the moment they were blessed by the Priest, Cuppy stated that this was a reminder that God’s love extends to all His creation. While sharing some of her moments with her puppies, the disc jockey revealed that being their mother had changed her life. In another post, the disc jockey revealed that her dogs were living a good life, one better than hers. She even stated that her future partner must receive blessings from them. Veteran, Ireti Doyle, in an Instagram post, spoke out about her fear of dogs, noting that it took 10 years of begging and negotiations for her daughter to get a puppy, and within that year, she got another one. Ireti said now she is a bona fide dog lover and owner, and is good friends with her Cane Corso and German Shepherd. Veteran Kanayo Kanayo, sharing a TikTok video of two dogs living a better lifestyle overseas, expressed sadness at how dogs could be sleeping on better beds and eating better food than most Nigerians. He questioned how people can compare living as a human being to being in Nigeria.
