Consensus was the dominant mode of election at the state congresses of the All Progressives Congress, which produced new executive councils nationwide on Tuesday. The newly elected councils were a combination of returnees and newly elected officials. At the various congress venues, executives from ward to local government and state levels were inaugurated in line with directives from the party’s national secretariat.
