An unforgettable journey with Biodun Jeyifo

When news broke of the passing of Biodun Jeyifo (BJ), one of the first persons that I spoke with was Kayode Komolafe. I knew how close he was to BJ; we reminisced on the truly remarkable human being, revolutionary intellectual, and a man of very deep sensibilities, that had just passed at the age of 80. Indeed, BJ was one of the most outstanding members of the Nigerian revolutionary movement, who dedicated his life to the liberation of our country, while also becoming one of the greatest literary scholars of the contemporary world.
