Amadeus University gets NUC’s nod for new medical, pharmacy, law courses
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has given Amadeus University, Amizi, in Amizi community of Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, the nod to start the following programmes with immediate effect: Medical and Surgery (MBBS), Law (LLB), and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D).
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel M. Nzotta, broke the news at a press conference to herald the institution’s second matriculation billed for last weekend.
”The programmes bring the number of courses offered by the institution to 22 across seven faculties, he added.
“We have admitted 92 undergraduates, although only 82 have completed the admission process and begun lectures, so we are expecting the rest,” he said.
