Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has said the National Assembly led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio should be farming sugarcane in Ogbomosho, Oyo State because they are unfit to be legislatures. Adeyanju said the Akpabio-led National Assembly is an enemy of Nigerians. He spoke in an interview with AIT on the new Electoral Amendment Bill. On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu signed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill 2026 into law. However, Adeyanju said the National Assembly has taken Nigerians back to 2023 when anybody 2003 when anybody could write election results.
