She charged them to continue supporting the current administration, noting that women play a central role in Governor Umo Eno's developmental agenda. Obareki reaffirmed the importance of women taking ownership of political processes and community decision-making. Empowerment opportunities are forthcoming for Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, as reiterated by the wife of the SSG, Mrs. Inemesit Enobong Uwah. She encouraged mothers to encourage their children aged 18 and above to apply and register for their Permanent Voter Card (PVC), thereby initiating their civic rights and responsibilities. A voter card, she said, gives them a voice in shaping their future and the future of their community. The Special Adviser to the Governor on the Bureau of Cooperatives, Hon. Alice Ekpenyong, commended the current administration for maintaining peace and stability in the state. She urged women to embrace the ARISE cooperative societies to improve their economic independence. Ekpenyong presented the 15 ARISE Cooperative set forms, designed to empower women through enterprise expansion or start-ups.
