ADC stalwart berates ruling party over oil wells’ altercation between Cross River, Akwa Ibom

A member of the opposition coalition party, African Democratic Party, ADC in Cross River State, Austine Ibok has berated the national ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC, for the inability to resolve the lingering faceoff between two sister states, which are all governed by the party.
Cross River and Akwa A’Ibom States have been locked in a renewed bitter quarrel over ownership of 76 oil wells which the country’s apex court, the Supreme Court, ruled in 2012 in favour of Akwa Ibom States.
