An Ogun State chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and convener of The Alternative Movement, Segun Showunmi, on Friday warned that the 2027 governorship race in the state must focus on a developmental agenda rather than a campaign of calumny aimed at scoring cheap political points. Showunmi also berated Nigerians over voter apathy, lamenting that while citizens readily discuss the country’s challenges in various forums, many fail to turn out on election day to vote for the desired change.
