The Kpakpaji clan in Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has given its full backing to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and Senator Kenneth Eze, endorsing them for re-election in 2027.
The decision was made during a constituency interactive meeting with Senator Eze at his Ohigbo Amagu country home, where the clan praised the duo for their impressive performance in office. The endorsement was moved by Barrister Petrus Elechi and seconded by Barrister Festus Nweke, with several stakeholders speaking in support of the motion.
The Vice Chancellor of Ebonyi State University, Prof Michael Awoke, expressed pride in supporting Governor Nwifuru and Senator Eze during the 2023 general elections, citing their ability to justify the people's mandates. Similarly, Professor Jonathan Aliede, a Director at the National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja Centre, commended Senator Eze for securing federal employments for many youths and executing impactful projects in various communities.
The APC State Ex-officio, Mr Cletus Alube, described Senator Eze's achievements as unprecedented in the history of representation in the zone, urging him to continue his good work. Other stakeholders, including the Commissioner for Commerce and Industries, Chief Oguzor Offia-Nwali, and a former local Government Chairman of Ezza South LGA, Hon Sunday Ogodo, also lauded Senator Eze's achievements and called for unity among the people of Ezza South.
The President of Kpakpaji Youth Assembly, Mr Sunday Nwali, pledged to mobilize the youth of the clan to ensure the landslide victory of Governor Nwifuru and Senator Eze in the 2027 elections.
